Hi there! My name is Daniela. I am an independent researcher and consultant on topics related to Political Science, Human Rights, Youth, and Conflict & Security.
I specialize in sustainable peacebuilding within transitional and fragile states, for which I consider essential to understanding the nuances of political behavior and the impact that young people can have in mediation and peace processes.
My approach is simple: I strive to be the kind of employee I’d want to hire, the kind of leader I’d want to work for and the kind of partner I’d trust my company to. I am a self-motivated, tech-savvy and progress-driven young professional with a background in academia, research, and analysis, which I consider to be positive assets bearing in mind the nature of the services I am offering.
My BA in Political Science and Government along with my MSc in Conflict, Security and International Development enabled to have a wide variety of skills and knowledge in various related disciplines, but my professional experience made me an innovative person capable of developing and executing strategies that bring value to the work I do.
As a researcher, I employ the processes of academic research to developing articles, reports, white papers while gathering and translating actual local challenges onto new forms of conflict resolution and peacebuilding. I have International experience collaborating as a research associate, processing and managing qualitative and quantitative data – using SPSS and STATA. – I also have international experience in project designing and management in fragile contexts, which have given me the skills to identify and allocate population needs, coordinate action with relevant organizations, involve the community and plan for emergency situations and disaster control always promoting sustainable development and the defense of human rights.
